On June 14-15, 2024, the "Rongcheng Ludao Economic Doctoral Forum" was held at RIEM at SWUFE. This forum is jointly organized by RIEM at SWUFE and the Zou Zhizhuang Institute of Economics at Xiamen University, and has received strong support from the NSFC Basic Science Center for Econometric Modeling and Economic Policy Research. The forum was hosted by Professor Guo Mengmeng from RIEM at SWUFE. Professor Huang Lin, Vice Dean of RIEM, and Professor Xue Jianpo, Vice Dean of the Zou Zhizhuang Institute of Economics at Xiamen University, delivered welcoming speeches. They fully affirmed the academic value of the forum and expressed their beautiful expectations for the future development of the forum.

This forum has promoted academic exchanges between the two universities and provided a platform for doctoral students to showcase their research achievements and collide academic ideas. It has not only successfully built a bridge for close cooperation between the two universities and the two institutes, but also become an important platform for deepening academic exchanges, strengthening discipline construction, and stimulating innovation in the training methods of economics doctoral students. Especially, it plays a positive role in leading doctoral students to keep up with the forefront of the discipline, broaden their academic horizons, and integrate into international academic exchanges.
