On November 12-13, a team consisting of four international students from RIEM won the second prize in the finals of the 2024 Rush Hour and the 2nd International Business Simulation Competition. This outstanding achievement fully demonstrates the comprehensive strength and achievements of the college in the field of international business education and practical ability cultivation. This competition is hosted by the Shanghai Education International Exchange Association and jointly organized by the School of International Cultural Exchange at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and the organizing committee of the global simulation competition platform, Jianfeng Moment. Its aim is to promote the development of international business simulation education, encourage participants to explore business decisions from interdisciplinary and cross-cultural perspectives, and cultivate practical abilities and innovative thinking. The competition attracted 117 teams and 425 participants from 32 universities across the country, covering 67 countries and regions. After fierce competition, 30 teams from 23 universities finally entered the finals.
During the two-day competition, our international student team demonstrated a solid theoretical foundation, keen business insight, and excellent teamwork skills. The team stood out from many strong teams with innovative strategies and precise business decisions, and won unanimous recognition from the judges with outstanding performance.
This award is an important achievement of RIEM's continuous promotion of international education reform and emphasis on practical education. RIEM has always been committed to cultivating global talents with international perspectives, innovative abilities, and practical spirit. In the future, it will continue to deepen education and teaching reforms, strengthen school enterprise cooperation, provide students with more opportunities to participate in international competitions and internships, and help students write more brilliant chapters on the international stage.
