It has been almost 7 months since I had my first sight of UK and Birmingham. I told myself to enjoy whatever I would experience in this year. And up to now, I have been successful in doing it.
Birmingham is an impeccable place to study. It is a quiet and beautiful university, and it has great teaching staffs. Every single class is full of challenges, and an experience of brainstorm. The most attractive point is that you really need to think deeply, not just acquire the knowledge mechanically. I really enjoy the process of getting insight into an economic model or a financial theory.
I feel lucky because I’ve made much more friends than I thought. They are from different countries of Europe, Asia, Africa and America. We have parties or play basketball on weekends. Because of them I got many opportunities to learn different cultures. And the most appealing way is to taste different food made by people from different countries. I guess I am going to miss those tastes after leaving Birmingham. By the way once I made hot pot for some of them, and after the first bite they couldn’t stop eating at all.
7 months have passed by and I just realize that I have changed a lot. More independent, and stronger than ever. I appreciate what I've experienced here, and I will be carrying on, step by step.
