On July 18th, the 2025 The 2025 RIEM Global Academy Summer Camp came to a successful conclusion at the Liulin Campus. A total of 45 international students from six countries, namely Russia, the United States, Türkiye, Uzbekistan, Hungary, and Vietnam, gathered together to participate in the event, marking the perfect end to a 14-day journey of in-depth exploration into "China's Economy and Sustainable Development"!

Relying on the disciplinary strengths of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) in Economics, Finance, Management, and other fields, the Summer Camp invited renowned overseas professors and senior professors from RIEM to jointly teach and create high-end academic courses. The courses cover cutting-edge topics such as Chinese economy, Chinese Financial Markets, Digital Marketing, Machine learning, and Digital Rural Revitalization in China. Through interactive discussions, case teaching, and other methods, students were able to spark their thinking and experience a wonderful academic feast.

In addition to academic feasts, the International Academic Camp has carefully designed an immersive experience of "language + culture + practice". Students learn practical Chinese in the Chinese language classroom, experience Chinese cuisine in the culinary workshop, visit museums to listen to the sounds of cultural relics and gain a close understanding of Chinese history, explore the Panda Base to observe the national treasure up close and feel the Chinese practice of ecological protection, enter Dujiangyan Irrigation Project and Shuijingfang to appreciate the wisdom of water conservancy for thousands of years and explore the brewing techniques of intangible cultural heritage, and conduct in-depth research in Wenjiang Tianxing Village to witness the development achievements of new rural areas in China. This event allows international students to fully experience the charm of Bashu and Chinese culture, leaving a profound impact on them. The seeds of beauty have taken root in their hearts, and they will surely blossom into beautiful flowers in the future.
