Personal Profile

Shu XU is a Professor at the Research Institute of Economics and Management and a distinguished professor under the "Guanghua Talent Program" at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE), where he also serves as a doctoral supervisor. He is the Executive Director of the China Household Finance Survey and Research Center. Professor Xu has been selected for national-level talent programs for leading experts and outstanding young scholars. He is the chief expert of major projects funded by the National Social Science Fund of China and is a recipient of the National Award for Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation in Education (Applied Economics). He has presided over multiple general and youth projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and humanities and social sciences projects funded by the Ministry of Education.
