3) Relevant Representative Achievements, Impact and Peer Recognition 1."Research on Several Important Issues of China's Labor Market under an Uncertain Social Environment," submitted for the 8th Outstanding Achievement Award in Population Science (Report Category) and won the first prize. Adopting scientific and appropriate research methods, this study fully considers the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, the protracted and complex nature of Sino-US trade frictions, and the changes in global supply chain control in the post-pandemic era. It measures and predicts my country's macro-employment situation and unemployment risks in the labor market, and discusses the major changes in China's labor market since 2019 and the resulting employment difficulties and key groups facing employment difficulties. This research is systematic, scientific, and comprehensive, proposing solutions for the labor market in the new development stage of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and providing in-depth, detailed, and systematic answers on how to implement proactive employment policies to maintain stable growth and employment within a reasonable range of economic operation. This study proposes a series of novel propositions on the labor market, pioneering theoretical innovation in labor market research, and offering new ideas for solutions to my country's labor market.
2. The research findings of the "Macro Research Report on STEM Education in China" were recognized by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), which published it as a significant reform proposition with far-reaching implications in the journal Reform Reference and submitted it to higher authorities. The research results were compiled into a book in 2021 and officially published by the State Council Research Office Press. The research findings of this project were published twice in the China Economic Report, published by the Development Research Center of the State Council. This project focuses on the important role of STEM education in promoting economic development: first, by cultivating STEM talent to provide a high-quality labor supply, driving quality change; second, by accumulating human capital to improve labor productivity, driving efficiency change; and third, by continuously accumulating knowledge capital to promote technological innovation and achieve a power change. STEM education promotes national economic growth and regional economic development and is closely related to innovation activities. Currently, China's total number of STEM talents is insufficient, the structure of STEM talents does not match the needs of industrial development, and there is a severe shortage of cutting-edge and advanced STEM talents. Further efforts are needed to strengthen the cultivation of STEM talents in the future.
3. The article "Fully Releasing the Educational Dividend to Alleviate the Loss of the Demographic Dividend," published in the theoretical section of Guangming Daily, received high attention from numerous domestic media outlets, being reprinted more than 10 times in central-level newspapers and periodicals such as Guangming Daily and People's Daily Online. Reprinted media included: Sina Finance, NetEase Finance, Sohu Finance, China Social Sciences Network, NetEase, China Industrial Economics Information Network, People's Daily Online, Guangming Daily, Economic Daily, Sohu, Sichuan Social Sciences Online, etc. The research was also selected for the 2020 "CTTI Think Tank Annual Outstanding Achievement Award" jointly organized by Guangming Daily and Nanjing University.
4. The research findings of "Survey on Employer Satisfaction with Secondary Vocational Education" received affirmation and instructions from Chen Baosheng, then Minister of Education. The related findings, "Improved Employer Satisfaction with Secondary Vocational School Graduates—New Findings from the 2019 National Secondary Vocational Education Satisfaction Survey," were published in the China Education Daily on September 1, 2020. The project's main findings, "Employer Satisfaction with Secondary Vocational School Students: Achievements, Problems, and Suggestions—Based on the National Secondary Vocational Education Survey and Evaluation," were published in the first issue of the China Vocational and Technical Education magazine in 2021. Industry experts believe that understanding the satisfaction levels of companies or organizations with students in my country's secondary vocational schools from the perspective of employer employment satisfaction is of great significance for improving the quality of secondary vocational education, promoting educational and teaching reforms, enhancing students' comprehensive qualities, and accelerating the development of modern vocational education.
