Jianyu YU is a Professor of RIEM, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, a candidate for Sichuan Provincial Academic Leader, and held a PhD in Economics from The Toulouse School of Economics, France. Her research focuses on the application of industrial economics in agricultural and food economics. In the past five years, she has concentrated on studying food safety, agricultural and food industry chain, agricultural cooperatives, and e-commerce platform strategies. Her research has been published in well-knowned international journals such as American Journal of Agricultural Economics, European Review of Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Economics, China Economic Review and Journal of Retailing, as well as Chinese journals like Economic Research Journal, Economics Quarterly, World Economy, and World Economy Papers. She has led one National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Youth Project and one international cooperation and exchange project. She also serves as a reviewer for several journals.
